Eugene Fu is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fu Capital Partners, a vertically integrated real estate investment platform combining live market intelligence, design-led development, and capital deployment into one operating model.
Over 25 years, he has built one of Chicago’s highest-producing residential brokerage platforms, Fu Group Chicago, part of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. Across more than $1B in career transactions, that work has created direct insight into pricing, absorption, and buyer demand across the city’s most competitive neighborhoods.
He also serves as design principal across Fu Capital projects, guiding acquisition strategy, product planning, architectural direction, and go-to-market execution. His two prior developments both sold out pre-completion, achieved record submarket pricing, and later resold at premiums.
Before real estate, Eugene worked at IBM in financial analysis, overseeing more than $300M in operating expenditures. That background informs a disciplined approach to underwriting, capital allocation, and downside protection.
Eugene serves on the board of Artadia and as Chair of Emerge at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, reflecting a belief that authentic design creates lasting value.
