The building’s original Art Deco architecture became the project’s competitive advantage. Instead of erasing that character, we translated its lines and symmetry into contemporary living through Deco-inspired kitchens, refined millwork, and modern detailing that create immediate identity in the market.
We also improved the underlying product. Adjacent units were combined into expansive full-floor residences with 50-foot-wide interiors, a scale rarely available in Lincoln Park walkups. A private elevator adds convenience and exclusivity uncommon for comparable historic assets. Hidden bathrooms, concealed storage, and clean sightlines elevate daily livability while preserving a premium aesthetic.
Our thesis is straightforward: distinctive product in a supply-constrained neighborhood should attract stronger buyer interest, support premium pricing, and improve sell-through versus generic alternatives. Respecting what was here is what creates demand for what comes next.
